Damariscotta Mills Alewife Run: Events Update
May 11 There will be a 5K road race, Run with the Alewives, on Saturday, May 27 at 9am. This popular race, which follows a scenic route around Great Salt Bay, promises fun for the whole family! To sign up for the race, scroll down in the Alewife Festival section of this website for a link to the form.
The second major fundraising event this year is the not-to-be-missed Adam Ezra Concert, on Sunday, May 28 at 4pm. For tickets (which are selling quickly!), go to the Alewife Festival section of this website.
Finally, fish ladder volunteers will be selling t-shirts, hats and other fish ladder goods and gear on Saturdays and Sundays at the fish house.
You’re right, there will not be a festival this year, largely because the footbridge needs to be replaced. You can still support our ongoing work by attending one our events. Or, simply make a donation on the Support Us section of this website!
