This quilt, by Betty Lu Brydges, will be raffled to raise funds in order to replace the 70 year old foot bridge that spans the pools of the Fish Ladder. Three of the squares are designs by John Whalley, and the others show houses of Damariscotta Mills, St Patricks Church and birds at the Fish Ladder. The quilt can be viewed at the Skidompha Public Library on Main Street in Damariscotta from February 17 until August 31.
700 raffle tickets will be available. The winning ticket will be drawn at the Nobleboro Historical Society on Labor Day, Monday September 5. If not present at the drawing, the quilt will be shipped to the winner.
How to Buy Raffle Tickets
Tickets are on sale at the Skidompha Public Library on Main Street in Damariscotta. You can purchase single tickets for $5 each or booklets of 6 tickets for $25 each. Alternatively you can send a check made out and mailed as follows:

We will enter your tickets into the raffle and you can pick up your ticket stubs at Skidompha Public Library. You will receive a receipt by mail that shows the numbers on your tickets. By law we cannot send tickets through the mail.
