This quilt, pieced by Betty Lu Brydges and quilted by Lynn Vogt, will be raffled at the festival. Some of the squares are printed with designs by three local artists contributed to previous festivals. The quilt can be viewed at the Skidompha Public Library on Main Street in Damariscotta from February 12 through May 21.
700 raffle tickets will be available. The winning ticket will be drawn at the Alewife Festival on Saturday, May 23. If not present at the drawing, the quilt will be shipped to the winner.
Similar squares will be for sale in two colors at the Festival.
CORRECTION due to Corona virus: Since the festival has been cancelled and there is no public place to display the quilt we propose to hold the draw at a festival in the Fall. We ask ticket holders to understand that the bulk of ticket sales happen when people can see the quilt on display.
How to Buy Tickets
Single tickets are $5. A six pack is $25, but online purchase includes a small fee to cover transaction processing costs.
