Happy Mother’s Day!

A Mother’s Day visit to the fish ladder is a tradition for many people. And, happily the sun is shining on this Mother’s Day after so many days of spring rain. If you visit today, you’ll be greeted at the fish house by volunteers who can provide information and who are selling those awesome fish ladder t-shirts, hats and other goods and gear. The recent rains mean that water levels are very high and there will be water over the walkway in places–so wear boots if you don’t want wet feet! There are a few alewives in the fish ladder but the heavy flows and cool weather means that we’re not at the height of the run. Happy Mother’s Day to all!!!
