Harvest
No harvesting today
There will not be harvesting this morning or this afternoon today—Friday, May 23—due to a lack of alewives. Cold temperatures and stormy weather have slowed the run nearly to a stop— look for lots and lots of fish to come in once the weather improves!!! Next harvest — Monday, May 26 at 5am.

Harvesting will begin Friday, May 17
Harvesting will begin this Friday, May 17 at 5am. Harvesting will take place Monday through Friday at 5am and 3pm. There will be no harvest on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). For more information, text fish agent and harvester Mark Becker at 207-380-7996.
Harvesting will begin when lots of fish come in
We’ve had many cool (cold) nights this spring and many cool, damp days. These conditions are not conducive to large number of alewives streaming into the fish ladder. Harvesting will begin when the big schools of fish come arrive—-any day now!
