Memorial Day Weekend Events

May 23, 2024  Memorial Day weekend will be eventful at the fish ladder!! While there won’t be a festival, there will be a 5k race — Run with the Alewives—on Saturday morning (May 25) at 9am; and a concert —Adam Ezra will again play a fish ladder benefit at the Lincoln Theater, Damariscotta on Sunday, May 26 at 4pm; — and there will be activities at the fish house from 10am — 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, May 25-26. Fish ladder swag will be on sale; there will be videos  of the restoration; and special fish ladder ice cream will be for sale !! And……don’t forget the alewives. There are so many alewives in right now, they’re so thick you could almost walk across the stream on their backs!! There will be smoked alewives too! Check out Mulligans Smokehouse across the street from the fish house. We hope to see you this weekend!
