Support Us

The Damariscotta Mills Fish Ladder Restoration is a grass-roots, community project run by volunteers and supported by people like you. Donations of any size help make this project possible. If you find it exciting to really make a difference—to bring back a depleted alewife population and to help the wildlife that depends on them as well as to preserve and enhance a place for up-close viewing of that wildlife—please consider helping! Every dollar that is donated goes directly to project costs!!

Donations should be made to the Fish Ladder Restoration Fund, Nobleboro Historical Society. The Nobleboro Historical Society is a charitable 501(c)3 organization, and donations are tax-deductible. Sending a check is the best way to make a donation. Checks should be made out and mailed as follows:

We regret that we no longer offer online giving. We discontinued credit card payments in 2017 due to the significant expense of credit card fees. So, please send a check to help support this important project — every penny will go to cover project costs. You will receive a letter of acknowledgment after your donation is received. We will not share or disclose your personal details to anyone. Please email Laurel Ames, Project Treasurer, with any questions at [email protected]. Thank you!
