Finally, so many alewives!

Great Salt Bay was full of alewives last evening—at least 10 “balls” of fish—lining up to pass under the RR trestle and the Rt 215 bridge and up the fish ladder! The sun came out and the fish came!!! Now is a great time to visit the fish ladder! Harvesting will take place mornings at 5am and afternoons at 3pm.
